Newark Police Division's Citizen Virtual Patrol System is Now Mobile Friendly. This technology allows community members to virtually patrol their neighborhoods and to assist police in deterring criminal activity. To access Citizen Virtual Patrol, follow these simple steps: 1. Log into the Newark Police Division’s website at: www.newarkpdonline.org from a mobile phone, desktop or laptop computer. 2. Click the button at the top right of the screen labeled “Citizen Virtual Patrol”. 3. Register and view the city’s cameras based on a map or list of intersections. 4. If you observe dangerous or suspected criminal activity, call 973-733-6000 for non-emergencies. As always, dial 911 for emergencies.
